Punch Drunk Press runs three events on a monthly basis. Punch Drunk Showcase is the first Wednesday of each month and features local poets, writers, musicians, comedians and more. The second is Punketry, the second Tuesday of each month where four featured poets read poems accompanied by punk music. Punch Drunk’s third event is Beet Poetry, a poetry series and open mic hosted out of the Corner Beet the third Friday of each month.
BRICE MAIURRO, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
Brice Maiurro is the editor-in-chief of Punch Drunk Press and a common host of Punch Drunk events including Punch Drunk Poetry, Poetry Workshop and Punketry! His poems have been featured by The Denver Post, The Lune, Suspect Press and Birdy Magazine. He has had a poetry blog for over five years at flashlightcityblues.com. He spends his free time pacing, and worried that he forgot to do something.
SARAH RODRIGUEZ, EDITOR
Sarah Rodriguez is the current Poetry Editor at Punch Drunk Press. She is a supporting member of the Boulder Writers’ Warehouse and Beyond Academia Free Skool. Sarah can be found reading and editing at various events in both Boulder and Denver. She loves cocktails, the color pink, and her pug (and soulmate), Earl. JONA FINE, ART DIRECTOR
Jona Fine is a queer/genderqueer poet, photographer, artist, and performance artist. They live in Boulder, Colorado with their leopard gecko Max and currently work as a book designer for Hachette Book Group. Jona is the founder, editor, and designer of Le Petit Press. They own over 26 bowties and recently drew their coffee table, 1 drawing every thirty minutes for 25 hours straight.
