“DAHMER” by Blake Edward Hamilton

You were just ahead
Of the curve

Grindr incarnate,
A 21st century gay

Performance artist
Devouring without

Thought – just like
Every other gay man

Does, immobilizing
Dates with a few

Drills to the back of the head –
You deleted and blocked

Before it was safe
From a distance

You cut out the tongues
Of your lovers

To silence them from
Revealing who you

Really were –
They do that today, too

Just quicker
With no sound at all
