“Lessons of the Moon and Gore-Tex® Thermals” by David S. Atkinson

Lessons of the Moon and Gore-Tex® Thermals

We were so sure what our uniqueness could do…
but then my friend ran upstairs
to moon his mother,
pulling down his long thermal underwear,
and
she didn’t bat an eye
before she asked if he was requesting talcum powder.
So we realized
we needed to keep our eyes open
just a bit longer.
