Purity // Pureza
Today, a return to purity is in order—
Like children in school, all together,
Asking questions, standing in the hallway…
Graduation ceremony! They mispronounced his name
Embarrassed and annoyed, his face burns
Now the scholar slips and falls in the chapel
Fiery thunder, dark sky, wet leaves…
Attention! Singing along to medieval melodies
Her eyes are always distracting his temper
Fresh air, rough skin, the priest dies
The windows are broken, the grass is wet
They lie together, lovers in ruins
Cut by the glass

Trueno ardiente, cielo oscuro, hojas mojadas
